Why did you start running?
I started running during PE in school, and soon fell in love with XC. My Dad would write me ‘sick notes’ for Food Tech and French so I could do XC instead. My sick notes soon became ‘sorry’ notes to my Dad, sorry I’m late home and covered in mud!
What/who motivates you to run?
My boys motivate me to run and having a working cocker spaniel who needs regular exercise is great too.
My week usually consists of a recovery run on Monday, club run on Tuesday, regular runs Thursday/Friday and a LSR at the weekend.
Favourite session?
Favourite session is a LSR on the trails, taking photos along the way and generally enjoying myself.
Road or trail?
Trail as much as possible.

Do you run alone or with a group?
I generally run with a friend or my club, but if I’m running alone, I take Oakley.
What other training do you do?
I do cardio and yoga.
What is your greatest running achievement so far?
Completing the London Marathon and surviving Covid.
